Overview

For 45 consecutive weeks, Edmonton communities gathered to stand in solidarity with Gaza and advocate for justice, human rights, and dignity. While the rallies were organized by various grassroots groups and passionate volunteers, the movement required connection, alignment, and a shared support structure to sustain its momentum.

ELMA helped strengthen this mobilization by bringing organizations together into a collaborative coalition, expanding communication reach through community channels, and offering consistent leadership presence throughout the movement.

Summary

Noor supported the weekly rallies by helping build a coalition of local organizations that could collectively amplify the efforts of organizers. Her role centered on expanding communication reach, sharing content across community networks, and ensuring information flowed widely and effectively. Noor attended the rallies weekly as a community leader, standing in solidarity, supporting volunteers, and contributing to a unified presence grounded in compassion and justice.
